Urban Decay NAKED EYE SHADOW PALETTE DUPES (1 & 3)

10:31

Hey everyone, I'm back with another dupe post!

After hitting pan on many of my favourite shades in the Urban Decay palette, I was reluctant to re-purchase this palette again as most of the palette was still intact, and at a hefty 47 euro to buy, its a pretty steep purchase. So I was delighted to find such an amazing dupe!

The iconic one palette by makeuprevolution is possibly the best dupe I have ever seen for a high-end makeup product, and at 6 euro its really an amazing investment!

Below I have posted a picture of both palettes side by side. The shades are pretty much identical and the layout of each palette is the same. The packaging is different between both palettes. The NAKED palette has an almost velvet texture to its exterior and a built-in mirror. The palette also provides an eye shadow brush, and the overall appearance of this palette is pretty luxurious. At 6 euro, you can't really expect the same luxurious appearance that you pay for with the 47 euro NAKED palette. The packaging of the iconic one palette is inoffensive, a plain black palette with a clear lid so you can visually see inside without having to open it.

The swatches shown below also show that the shades are pretty much identical. The only real difference between each being the pigmentation. One swipe from the NAKED palette provides full coverage and a makeup look can be created effortlessly with it. The iconic one palette doesn't provide the same high quality pigmentation, but the shades are very buildable, meaning with a little effort you can achieve the same look as you can with the NAKED palette.

If you are on a budget or feel like using the value of one NAKED palette to experiment with three or four palettes instead, then this is a really great alternative.

I have also posted a quick photo of a comparison between the NAKED 3 palette, and the iconic 3 palette from makeuprevolution. Yet again, the shades are identical and the situation is the same for this comparison as the one reviewed above.

I hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful! If you have any further questions or queries, feel free to drop a comment down below or contact me on my social media accounts linked in the side bar.

LUSH Huge Boxing Day Haul

10:00

Hello lovelies!
I'm going to get straight into this post, so if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them down below or find me on any of my social media outlets linked in the side-bar.
Like most fans of LUSH, I waited excitedly for the 26th of December to roll around for the much anticipated boxing day sale. I live miles away from my nearest LUSH store, and Ireland only has ONE store within the entire country, so I was relying heavily on the online store to help me stock up on my seasonal LUSH addiction. WELL, I never knew it was possible for online shopping to be so stressful.
It is pretty common knowledge at this stage that the LUSH online boxing sale was a hot mess. Wait queues of over six hours, with over 200,000 people ahead in the queue was met by many shoppers. Both the LUSH social media team and IT department were swamped that day.
Luckily,  by switching between four different devices, I finally got into the online store. That being said, the majority of gift sets were sold out already before the sale even commenced which was slightly disappointing, but I managed to pick up a couple of what was remaining which will be featured later in this post. I also really wanted to stock up on the seasonal body conditioners and wands, but they were all sold out too.
I did pick up quite a lot of product, three large packages to be exact.

Fashion Beauty Scents Perfume Floral Fragrances Designer

Marc Jacobs: Fragrances

11:12

For years I have been a huge fan of Marc Jacobs perfumes. (As you can see, I have a considerable collection!) The packaging of each scent is so unique; floral being the key idea behind each bottle. Each fragrance has a completely unique scent, and I just love how elegant and artistic each bottle looks. My original fave is LOLA, it was my first ever Marc Jacobs fragrance, however my current fave is DAISY DREAM. If you're looking for a new fragrance, I highly recommend these beautiful creations by Marc Jacobs! Between the elegant scents and the beautifully designed bottles, they're a staple that every woman should have.

Thanks for reading, and please leave your feedback :)
